What are Promo Codes in Glofox?

Promo Codes are now available as part of our discounts feature. This will allow you to easily create and manage promotional codes to offer discounts and incentives for your gym memberships. You can share the code on your social media channels or use them to reward your members.  These can be used by your members or leads through the member app.

How to create a Promo Code in Glofox

You can create Promo Codes from the discounts section in Glofox. To do this

1. Navigate to the discounts tab on your dashboard.
2. Open an existing discount (or create a new one)
3. Toggle on promo code and enter a code you want to associate with the discount
4. Click save 

This code can now be given to members to use.

How to limit Promo Codes usage

You can limit how members can use promo codes in the following ways:

1. Limit the amount of times a promo code can be used by each member.
2. Limit the membership plans a promo code can be used with.
3. Limit the period of time in which a promo code can be used.

1. Limit the amount of times a promo code can be used by each member:

When setting up your promo code you can select how many times a user can use this promo code. This is on a per user basis and not the total amount of times it can be used. You can set this up while setting up your promo code. 

2. Limit the membership plans a promo code can be used with:

When setting up a promo code you can select the membership plans that a promo code can be applied to. When set, the promo code will only be valid for purchases of those plans. The promo code will be invalid for all other purchases.

The list of selected membership plans can be edited at any time if required. You can review all Memberships and plans that are currently selected on the Discount definition screen. 

3. Limit the period of time in which a promo code can be used

When creating your promo code, you can enter a start and end date so that the promo code can only be used during this time period. 

The selected date range can be edited at any time if required.

How to use a Promo Code as a Member

Your members can redeem promo codes you have shared with them when they are checking out in the Member App or in the Web Portal.  To do this

1. Navigate to the service they which to purchase
2. In the Promo code box, enter or paste the code they have received
3. This will automatically show the new price of the service
4. Click Purchase
