At Glofox, we offer two different types of hardware integrations for check in:
- Check In via Barcode & Scanner
- Access Control via integration with Gantner
1. Check In via Barcode & Scanner
This is the most cost effective check in solution for Glofox clients. Glofox will automatically generate barcodes for each of your members, based on their phone number. Your members barcode is locate in their account on your App, they simply scan it via their smartphone on entry to your facility.
Under this option, the only cost you will incur is the purchase of the scanner. (However, you may opt to purchase barcodes online instead of using the ones automatically generated by Glofox.).

2. Access Control via Integration with Gantner
The second option involves integrating Glofox with an automated door or turnstile via a technology called Gantner. In this case, your members will be given physical key tag / card which contains a barcode. Costs include Gantner access control software and equipment, RFID keytags / cards, purchase of the door / turnstile itself (if this has not already been done) and installation.
