No, you do not need to create a 'PAYG(Pay as you go)' membership type.
How do I allow PAYG to attend a class?
If a person signs up to your studio and does not purchase a membership they're referred to as a 'Client' or 'Lead' if you have the Marketing tools add on in Glofox, these are also PAYG customers.
When a member's membership expires and they do not renew, they are also considered PAYG customers.
When you create a class, you have the option to select the types of memberships or clients that are eligible for the class i.e. who can book in for that class.
To allow PAYG clients to book in for your class, just follow these steps:
- Go to the Manage tab
- Scroll to the class you want to change the settings on
- Click the class and scroll down to the Price / Eligibility settings
- If Single Price is chosen, toggle the slider to enable Drop In Clients. If Different Prices is chosen, toggle the slider to enable PAYG
- Once enabled, input the price that you want Drop In Clients/PAYG to pay for the class
- Click 'Save'
