Our goal is to reduce the amount of time you need to spend at the front desk. With this in mind, we're introducing a brand new feature to our barcode check in system.
With our new check in feature, you can:
- Eliminate the pre class rush
- Start classes on time
- Offer more convenience to members
Before, our gym check in feature was focused on tracking members entering your overall gym or studio, as opposed to tracking check ins for specific bookings.
Now, we’ve increased functionality. If a member checks into your facility and they have a booking in the next hour, they will also be checked in and marked as "attended" for this specific class or appointment booking.
How Does it Work?
- The member will open their in app barcode by clicking on the ‘cog’ icon in the top right corner of your Member App.
- They will then place the barcode underneath the scanner until it beeps. This signals that they've been successfully checked in to your facility.
If the member has a class or appointment booking within the next hour, they will be checked in for this booking.
The check-in will be recorded in the "Access" tab of the Glofox Dashboard and in the member's profile. If a booking is present, the check in will also be recorded in the booking list.
How do I get the correct scanner and barcodes?
