Differences between the Old and New navigation layouts

Follow

As you may know, we recently updated the navigation layout to provide you with a more seamless and intuitive experience. This update does not involve any functional changes to the capabilities you can access. Instead, we've simply reorganized the layout from the top-based navigation to a side-based one, providing you with a more seamless navigation experience and more room for future capabilities.

Old top-based navigation

New side-based navigation

As you can see, the core structure of primary and secondary tabs remains. The primary tabs are:

  • Home
  • Manage
  • Connect
  • Reports
  • Checkout – in the new layout this is now a primary tab, rather than a separate button

Secondary tabs are the sub-tabs within the primary one. Example in the images below for the primary tab “Home”:

  • Dashboard
  • Calendar
  • Access
  • Store Sales

Essentially, aside of the visual improvements and rebranding to match our new ABC identity, this is the only major change that this navigation layout update brings.

Lastly, a smaller but important change, is that Settings can now be more easily accessed directly from the side tab, rather than having to go into a separate list, as you can see in the images below:

We understand that change can take time to get used to, which is why we’ve given you the ability to switch back and forth between the old and new navigation layouts. However, we're now approaching the date when we’ll stop supporting this option, which will be June 30th. After this date, all customers will be permanently transitioned to the new layout.
