From time to time, you may be required to edit a member’s membership. In order to do so, follow the steps below:
1. Use the search bar in the top right corner of the screen (Global Search) to search for the member you are looking for.
2. Click on the member’s name to bring up their profile.
3. Within the member profile, click on the ‘Membership’ tab.
4. To the right of 'Expiration Date', you will see two more options:
Pause: If, for example, a member is going on holidays and will not be using their membership for a certain period, you may choose to pause their subscription for them. When pausing a subscription, you must choose the date that the payments are to restart on.
You will only be able to pause a member if they are on a subscription, and if that Membership was not set up to charge on the first of the month.
While the membership is paused, the member will not be charged a recurring payment. Once the start date arrives, the membership will become active again and the member will be charged a payment for the coming period.
Cancel: If you choose this option, two further options will pop up for a subscription memberships 1. "Cancel Membership" 2. "Cancel Subscription"
You can choose to cancel both at once or to cancel the subscription only. Cancelling the subscription will mean that an automatic payment for the membership will no longer be taken after each time period. However, the membership will not be cancelled. The member will simply revert back to manually making payments for each membership.
If you choose to cancel both the subscription and the membership, the member will revert to being a Drop-In Client (PAYG). You can either choose to leave the member as a Drop-In Client or to purchase another membership.
