When a member is having trouble booking into a Class, it is generally caused by one of these three simple reasons:
- Their membership has expired
- The member has no valid credits left
- The member is not eligible for the class
Their membership has expired
If the client’s membership has expired, this issue can be resolved simply by purchasing another membership. If the client is on a subscription with recurring payments, then it is quite possible that their last payment has failed.
We recommend checking the following:
- Is the member’s membership still active?
- Was the member’s last payment successful?
The member has no valid Credits left
If the member has no Credits left, they will not be able to book into a Class. This can be resolved by purchasing more Credits from your Studio.
If the member purchased Credits that are restricted to use in a certain Class category, they can only use these Credits to book into classes in this exact category.
We recommend checking the following:
- Does the member have Credits left?
- Did the member purchase Credits specific to a particular Class category?
The member is not eligible for the Class
When setting up a Class, you must select the price and eligibility i.e. you decide whether the Class will have:
- No charge
- A single price for drop-ins and members
- Different prices for each membership type
Under the ‘different prices’ option, you can also choose to not allow particular membership types from booking in for a Class. This is denoted by the slider beside a membership name being greyed out.
We recommend checking the following:
- Have you made the class unavailable to the membership type that the member has purchased?
