With Glofox, you have the ability to track members entering your studio or gym for access monitoring or access control purposes.
You can gain valuable member data by tracking members entering your studio or gym. When you collect information on your members favourite days, times and classes to attend, you’re creating a pool of knowledge that you can draw from when it comes to creating new classes and marketing programs. This information automatically stores in your individual member profiles.
An access control system, however, goes that step further by integrating with automated doors to ensure only active members can enter your gym or studio.
There are three options for tracking members entering your studio or gym:
Option 1: Manual
When you track members coming into your gym or studio manually, you must type the member’s name into Glofox on arrival. The Dashboard will show their details and once a valid membership is confirmed, you can click to save the check-in entry.
You can find a step by step guide on how to manually check members into your gym or studio here.
Option 2: Barcode
When you track members coming into your gym or studio through Barcode, the member scans their in-app barcode via scanner and the system automatically saves their check-in entry. The barcode check-in system requires the Glofox Dashboard to be open. Navigate to the Dashboard, and click on the ‘Access’ tab located beside the ‘Calendar’ tab before the member checks-in.
You can find a step by step guide to setting up access monitoring through barcode here.
Option 3: RFID
Through the use of an RFID key fob system, you have the option to integrate with turnstiles or automated doors for access control.
