How do I assign a Client a Barcode?

If you have access logging enabled, your clients will have a barcode generated automatically for them in their member app. This barcode is generated using the numbers in the mobile number provided to Glofox, and needs to be unique to that client.

However, if you are using Key Fob barcodes, or have to assign a member a new barcode, just follow these steps: 

  1.  Using either Global Search, or the Client list, click into the client profile you wish to add a barcode to
  2. At the top of the members profile slide-out, click on "Assign a barcode"
  3. Scan the new barcode, or type the barcode number you wish to apply and click "Confirm"
  4. Click "Ok"
  5. This will assign the new barcode to the member

Or

  1. Using either Global Search, or the Client list, click into the client profile you wish to add a barcode to
  2. In the details tab, underneath Client email, phone number, member ID, their is a button titled 'Assign Barcode'
  3. Click 'Assign Barcode'
  4. Scan the new barcode, or type the barcode number you wish to apply
  5. Click 'OK'
  6. This will assign the new barcode to the member
