Yes. All prices entered into Glofox should include sales tax. Glofox will not add a tax rate on top of the prices you have entered into the Dashboard. It is the sole responsibility of the gym /studio to incorporate tax rates into the final prices that members will pay.
E.g. You charge a tax rate of 23%. If the membership fee is €114 before tax, it will be €140 including tax.
23% of €114 is €26.2
The membership fee you should enter into Glofox is €140, as this is the end fee that the member should be charged.
Set Up the Tax Rate in the Dashboard (For Reporting Purposes Only)
1. Go to the Dashboard Settings by clicking the 3 bars in the top right corner of the Dashboard. From the drop down menu, select 'Settings'.
2. Select the 'Payments' tab .
3. Enter the tax rate which you have already included in all your prices.
4. Click 'Save'.
Why do I Add the Tax Rate to the Dashboard Settings?
Under your Dashboard Settings, you may set up a tax rate for reporting purposes only. In this case we can break down your sales revenue AND taxes payable. This will help you to easily identify your net sales/revenue (sales less taxes payable).
For example, if you wish to create a report on revenue by item, you may now tick the box which reads 'tax (23%)' to reveal a more detailed breakdown of your total sales, tax on sales, and the final net sales/revenue.
