Tailoring your messages to your customer’s journey is a great way to ensure you create a compelling and highly personalized member experience. With the Amplify “New service started” workflow, you can create custom workflows targeting members starting a specific service plan.
Whether you’re trying to differentiate between memberships and credit packs, trials versus full services, or distinguish between individual service plans, this workflow enables you to engage your members with uniquely custom messages.
You can find the workflow by going to Connect > Messages > Automated messages and scrolling to the "New service started" workflow. You can then set up a new workflow from scratch, by:
- Clicking on “Get started”
- Defining:
- A name
- A selection of which plans are targeted (this list reflects the services you have configured in Manage > Services). Plans can be mixed and matched from different services.
- Once a specific set of plans have been chosen, you can add the flow.
- Lastly, you can define the specific sequence of steps the workflow will automate, by adding new steps, including emails, SMS, push notifications, and staff tasks, and editing the content of each accordingly.

Once setup, anyone that starts one of the selected service plans will receive the configured sequence of automated messages, up until they cancel or expire that plan.
