Manually Capturing the Lead Source and Entry Point of a Lead or a Client

Follow

Understanding how leads are discovering your studio and how they’re contacting you is essential for you to better understand their journey, as well as your sales and marketing funnels’ performance. By understanding which channels are the top performers, you can adjust your marketing resource allocation, and you can adjust how you engage with customers based on their specific journey.

When logging a new Lead or Client in the dashboard, you can use this opportunity to manually capture this information.

To do this:

  1. Navigate to Manage > Leads or Manage > Clients, to add a new Lead or Client, respectively.
  2. Select ‘Add Leads’ or ‘Add Clients’ in the upper right corner to add a new Lead or Client.
  3. You’ll now see two new fields:
    1. How did the client hear about us?”, which sets their Lead source
    2. How did the client get in touch with us?”, which sets their Lead entry point

Once captured, you can see these fields in their profile under the Details tab.
