What are custom charges?
A custom charge is a once-off charge for a client, which is not related to a particular service or membership. There are many reasons why custom charges might be useful; you can reduce the cost of a membership, offer a special discount or add in a bank transfer log to a client's profile.
How to create a custom charge
To add a charge to a member, follow the steps below:
- Use 'Global Search' to search for the client you would like to add a custom charge to and click into their profile or locate the client from the 'Client' tab
- Click the 'Custom Charge' button
- Add the amount the charge should be and select the payment method: cash, card, bank transfer, etc
- Add a description to your custom charge e.g. Late payment fee, locker.
- Click 'Charge'
This charge will be visible under the 'Transactions' tab of your member's profile, for future reference and will be visible in your 'Transaction' report.
