How to enable the 'Book a Friend' feature
Enabling 'Book a Friend' can be a great way to retain members and gain new ones as clients/members can share the experience with their friends.
To enable this feature for Classes, just follow these steps:
- Click the settings icon in the bottom left of the screen
- Go to the Booking tab and click open on the Classes window
- Scroll down and toggle the slide for 'Book friends' to ON
- You can then choose how many friends you'd like your clients/members to bring
- Once done, click 'Save Changes' on the top right of the screen
To enable this feature for Courses, just follow these steps:
- Click the ☰ icon on the right side of the screen and click Settings
- Go to the Booking tab and click open on the Courses window
- Scroll down and toggle the slide for 'Book friends' to ON
- You can then choose how many friends you'd like your clients/members to bring
- Once done, click 'Save Changes' on the top right of the screen
How will my client be charged for booking a friend?
The way a client will be charged for booking a friend is as follows:
- If you are a drop-in client, you will be charged for yourself and each friend you book
- If you are a member with service credits, you will be charged a credit for yourself and each friend you book
- If you are a member with Unlimited Access, you will not be charged any extra for booking in a friend (Tip: take note of additional members and charge them on arrival)
Booking a friend through the Member or Standalone app
It's really easy for your members to use this feature on the Member and Standalone apps. To do so, they simply follow these steps;
- Find the class you want to book and click it
- Click 'Book'
- Toggle 'Bring a friend?' to 'ON'
- Choose how many friends you want to bring
- Click Book
