Updates to Receipts for Recurring Memberships

We’ve made some changes to the email receipts your members receive about their Recurring Memberships.
  • Your members will now receive additional information in their initial Recurring Membership receipt detailing how they’ll be charged for their Membership from the offset ensuring that they have all the information they need in one email
  • Your members will enjoy a quieter email inbox and will only receive receipts for their Membership payments on the initial charge and whenever the terms of their Membership change. e.g. when they return from a pause
  • Your members will still be able to see a log of all payments made in the transaction log on their member profile

These changes have been made to ensure that all communications from your studio are purposeful and informative and will help to reduce the noise in your members’ inbox. 

Please note:

  • Currently, this is not available on Stripe Standard
  • This does not affect receipts for Single purchase Memberships

 What will the new subscription receipt look like?

Your Member's new receipt will look something like this:

It will clearly show the amount charged and the frequency of upcoming payment and well as the cost, tax, and a payment summary. 

How Members view their transaction log

If a Member wants to view their transaction log from the Member App, ask them to follow these instructions: 

  1. Once logged into to Member App click on the profile picture to open their profile
  2. Scroll down and click ‘Payments’ 
  3. A full history of past payments will be available from here

If a Member wants to view their transaction log from the Website Portal, ask them to follow these instructions:

  1. Once logged into the Website Portal, your member should click on 'Profile', usually located on the top right-hand corner of the screen
  2. Next, they will click on 'Transactions' 
  3. A full history of past payments will be available from here
