How to reset Staff passwords from the Glofox Dashboard
To reset Staff passwords, follow these steps:
- From the Glofox dashboard go the ‘Manage’ icon
- Then go to ‘Trainers’
- Click on the Staff member you want to reset a password for
- Under the ‘Actions’ panel on the right-hand side, click the ‘Rest Password’ button
Can't log in? Here's how to reset your password
Is your staff member locked out of their account? If so they will need to set a new password. For your protection, all passwords stored on Glofox are hashed, even our own staff can't view them. If you lose your password, or you're locked out of your account, it cannot be retrieved - it must be reset.
To set a new password, follow these steps:
- Go to your Glofox dashboard login
- Click 'Reset Password'
3. A set of instructions will be emailed to you - Make sure you follow the password requirements listed below
You will receive a confirmation email once your password has been reset.
How to create a strong password
A strong password helps you:
- Keep your account information safe
- Protect your emails, files, and other content
- Prevent someone else from getting into your account
To make sure your password is strong, you should consider the following:
- Meet the password requirements, mentioned below
- Don't - use the same password for multiple accounts - If a hacker guesses your password, they now have easy access to all of your accounts
- Don't - use a sequence like 123, abc, or qwerty
- Don't - use personal information or common words
- Do - Make your passwords longer
Meeting the password requirements
When creating your password it must;
- Be at least 8 characters long
- Use at least 1 uppercase and 1 lowercase letter, 1 number and 1 special character
