What is Glofox Insights?

Glofox Insights is an advanced analytics tool. It helps you eliminate the guesswork from your business and get certainty that your actions will have a positive impact on its future. Glofox Insights is an add-on tool, that existing Glofox customers can upgrade to, which allows you to get the most value from your data. What is Sales Activity in Glofox Insights?

From the Sales Activity dashboard in Glofox Insights, you can see all of your revenue streams in one place. This is really insightful information as it essentially lays out which of your business activities are generating the most income and which are lagging behind. This helps you decide which revenue sources to double down on and which need more attention to bring them to a healthier place.

Getting the most out of your Sales Activity data

Each of the segments in Sales Activity can be examined in more detail by simply clicking on the data you’d like to know more about. This will provide you with a more granular view of each data segment and allow you to discover the key drivers and detractors for each of your gym/studios’s revenue streams. With this information, you’ll know which activities to double down on and which need more of your attention to bring them up to par.

Total Sales & Sales by Payment Type

Total Sales provides you with a live breakdown of your overall sales activity. You can set a date range to view a full breakdown of sales for that period and see how your business is performing over time. Sales by Payment Type will help you better understand where the most and least revenue is being generated. With Glofox Insights for multiple locations you are also able to view Sales by Location and Total Sales by Branch, allowing you to keep tabs on your locations that are performing the best and those that need more support.

Use your Total Sales results for previous months to set clearer sales targets for your staff. Reward staff for reaching certain targets. Incentivized staff; More likely to hit sales targets; More revenue generated.
Use Sales by Payment Type data to target users who are booking Pay As You Go and engage with these users to promote the value of membership. More revenue; Increased retention.

Membership Sales, Single Membership Sales, Recurring Subscriptions & Upfront Fees

Understanding the current and past breakdown of your membership sales is crucial information that will help you increase revenue in the future. We’ve made this task so much simpler by providing you with insights into the key elements of membership sales in a clear and easily accessible format. 

The Membership Sales dashboard shows off the total revenue brought in by memberships sold during a chosen time period. Single Membership Sales gives you a breakdown of the revenue from the sale of non-recurring memberships during this period. Recurring Subscriptions takes a look at all of the revenue generated by recurring membership sales. Upfront Fees provides insight into the total revenue generated by joining fees on both single and recurring membership payments.

Use your Membership Sales as well as Single and Recurring Subscription results for past months to set clearer sales targets for your staff. Reward staff for reaching certain targets. Incentivized staff; More likely to hit sales targets; More members; Increased revenue.

Examine any of these data points for a particular month and see if you can correlate any marketing/sales activity, or lack of activity, that may have led to an increase or decrease respectively.

By understanding which of your team’s efforts helped or hindered your results for a given month, you can better approach future sales targets by doubling down on the activities that worked, and adjusting or stopping the activities that were not yielding positive results.

Credit Pack Sales

Credit Pack Sales provides you with an easy-to-understand breakdown of all of the revenue brought in from the sale of class packs and personal trainer sessions. With this information, you’ll have a better understanding of this non-recurring revenue stream. This will help you to focus on increasing credit pack sales or trying to convince your customers, that are purchasing credit packs, to move to a recurring membership.

Expected Result

Identify which customers are your most frequent credit pack buyers. Target them to convert to a recurring subscription. Perhaps offer a discount or gift their first membership cycle free to help sweeten the deal.

Store Revenue

Store Revenue is a look at the revenue generated by any items sold from your store, if you have one. A store is an excellent way to generate auxiliary revenue beyond your core fitness services and we recommend it to all of our customers who want to create more efficient and scalable revenue streams. For customers who already have a store set up with Glofox, you can use these insights to make smarter decisions when it comes to deciding on the goods that you’re selling or not.

Expected Result

Review a breakdown of your Store Revenue with one click and discover the most and least sold store items. Use this information to add more items that are similar to your top sellers and, remove, or promote your least selling items.

Review the sale of certain items over time and adjust stock according to the times of the year when they are most and least popular. More efficient stock management; Increased revenue; Decreased cost.

Other Sales

Other Sales includes any revenue that is generated from the sale of anything other than a membership or item in your store. This includes event books, custom charges, account balance top-ups, and other ad-hoc revenue streams that your gym or studio might have for sale.

Identify potential revenue sources that you are currently not taking advantage of and implement them into your business on a trial basis to see if they perform. New revenue streams.
Identify the ad-hoc revenue sources that are performing the best and invest more time in promoting them to customers that may not be aware of them.  Increased revenue.

Money Owed

Money Owed provides you with a clear picture of all outstanding balances owed by your clients. Collecting outstanding fees can be a tedious task at the best of times so we’ve made it as simple as possible for you to see which of your clients has an overdue balance, how much they owe, and how long they’ve had an outstanding balance, so that your team can take the most effective action.

Schedule a recurring report of Money Owed to be automatically sent to your team at a time and day of your choice using Glofox Insights. More revenue; Improved debt collection process; Improved process for capturing failed payments.
