How it starts
A conversation is created automatically the first time you or the customer sends an SMS (including 1:1, bulk, or automated messages).
Good to know
Two-way SMS isn’t available in all regions. For details, see our dedicated article.
Replies are sent from your studio-assigned numbers. In some regions, marketing and transactional traffic use different numbers.
The message composer shows an estimate of SMS credits your reply will consume.
If two customers share a phone number, you’ll see two separate threads with the same messages. This makes it clear that both profiles are being contacted while reflecting their shared number.
