Requirements to launch your own Standalone Branded App
Ensure you have the following:
- Business email address
- Business website
- D-U-N-S® Number (verifies your business as a legal entity)
- Business Apple ID
- An iOS device (for two-factor authentication)
- Proof of ownership (if your legal entity differs from your App name)
- Business Credit Card (to pay the developer fee to Apple)
Summary of the Standalone Branded App Process
- Apply for a D-U-N-S number.
- A D-U-N-S number is required by Apple when applying for your Apple Developer Account.
- Use the D-U-N-S number lookup tool to see if you already have a D-U-N-S number by logging in with your business’s Apple ID.
- If you don’t have a D-U-N-S Number, you can request a D-U-N-S number here.
- Enroll in the Apple Developer Program
- Follow the steps in our help article to apply to the Apple Developer Account as an organization.
- Add ABC Glofox to your Apple Developer account
- For our team to build and manage your app, we need to be added as an Admin on your Apple Developer Account.
- Follow the instructions here to add our team as an Admin to your Apple Developer Account.
- Submit your Brand Assets
- Once added to your Apple Developer Account, we will provide you with an app submission form.
- Review our help article to learn more about the required assets for your app to upload to the submission form.
- Build and Publication
- Our team will design and build your app and publish it to Apple and Google App Stores.
- Your App goes live!
- We will let you know once your app is officially live and available to download!

How Long Will the App Process Take?
Typically, your app will be live within 4-6 business weeks. This timeframe depends on:
- The creation and admin setup of your Apple Developer Account
- The design process and approval by Apple/Google
- Potential delays due to rejections from Apple, such as:
- Proof of ownership required
- Proof of trademark is required for the app name (if the name is already taken in the Apple App Store).
- We suggest you keep documents available to help with the turnaround time. We will assist in the process of disputing claims.
