Overview
You can make any class in Glofox free to book for Members, Leads, PAYG, and Credit Pack holders.
This gives you the flexibility to offer first-class trials, community sessions, or promotional events — without needing to adjust memberships, credits, or pricing.
This helps you save time and create a smoother booking experience for your clients.
Why This Matters
Free classes are a great way to attract new leads and drive conversions.
Previously, staff had to manually create special credit packs or edit memberships to make a class free to book. This process added extra admin steps and complexity.
With the Free Class option, you can easily set up and promote free sessions in just a few clicks — no manual work needed.
What’s Included
When setting up or editing a class, you’ll now see a Free Class toggle in the Class Settings.
Once enabled:
- Price and eligibility settings are automatically hidden
- Bookings for free classes require no credits or payment
- A Free tag appears on the schedule, event hover, and in the cart
- Bookings appear in the client’s Activity tab
- Free bookings are visible in your Reports
- Available for Members, Leads, PAYG, and Credit Pack holders
- Can be booked through the Dashboard, Pro App, Member App, and Web Integration
How to Set a Class as Free
- Go to Manage > Classes in your Glofox Dashboard.
- Select an existing class, or click Add Class to create a new one.
- In the Class Settings section, toggle Free Class on.
- Click Save.
Your class will now display as Free across all booking platforms.
Please note:
- The Free Class toggle is off by default.
- Payment options will only appear if a price is re-added.
- Members with overdue memberships or failed validation strikes will not be able to book a free class.
- Free classes are not eligible for 'Book multiple'.
- Free classes are exempt from No-show/Late cancellation fees.
