Overdue Invoice Access Blocking helps you manage facility access for members with outstanding payments. When enabled, members with an overdue invoice on their membership cannot automatically access your facility. Instead, a staff member is prompted to review the request and decide whether to grant or deny access.
How it works
When Overdue Invoice Access Blocking is enabled:
1. A member has one or more overdue invoices on their membership.
2. The member attempts to access your facility.
3. A Grant Access prompt appears on the Access page.
4. A staff member can choose to Grant Access or Deny Access.
Granting access
If a staff member selects Grant Access:
• The member is allowed to enter the facility.
• The visit is recorded in the Access Log.
• The entry is marked with an Override badge to show that access was manually granted.
Denying access
If a staff member selects Deny Access:
• The member is not granted entry.
• The member will not be able to access the facility.
Viewing manually granted access
Whenever access is manually granted, the visit appears in the Access Log with an Override badge. This gives you a clear audit trail of manual access decisions.
Member View
When a member has an overdue invoice, they'll be notified in the Membership section of the Member App, and when they try to check in as well.
Each warning will prompt them to pay their overdue invoice(s).
Once the invoice is paid, they'll get a success message and the membership will be unlocked.
